Now that King Macfrights no longer reigns on floor 6 of Luigi's Mansion 3, the exploration of the Garden Suites. The elevator button is right in front of you, right from the first room. But the boss of the floor is watering a small plant just under the button, leading it to the ceiling of this new series of rooms.
Start your ascension until you are stopped by a branch crushing the wall: go through it and then hang the vine connecting the two ends with your vacuum cleaner in order to swing and reach the other side of the tree. Then pull on the big stem of the giant plant that blocks your path and enter the room on your right at the next level.
In this room, simply vacuum the leaves that block the access to the next door, before being attacked by a ghost with flower as a shield. The flowers on the first floor also react to light, so you will have to flash them in order to make them bloom, then vacuum its petals and finally flash the ghost hidden behind.
Continue your ascension: beware of the pineapple bouncing on the stairs. Try to find the right timing, then run between each new wave to vacuum the stem of the plant.
New room, new puzzle, even if there's nothing complicated here: grab the garbage can next to the bathtub with a suction cup, then use it to destroy the toilets to the right of the room. This will free up a huge thorn you'll have to aspire to unblock the path.
Before leaving, a big red ghost will appear, once again preventing access to the stairwell. You know the drill, wait for him to attack, flash him and then go behind him to grab him with the vacuum cleaner. Once out, avoid the pineapples again as you did the previous time, but be careful, this time there are two at each wave. Weed the giant plant, then let's continue our progress.
Here, flash the electric saw to turn it on, aspirate it, then tear off the vines that prevent access to the next room. Before going inside, a vine will grab you: take Gooigi to catch the saw and release Luigi from the vine by cutting it. Next bathroom, take Gooigi again so that he can attach a suction cup with you to the giant watermelon. Pull together and swing it with all your might to free a new way out. New basic ghosts will try to block your way.
Back in the stairwell, suck or blow on the wrapped leaves to unfold them and progress. New vines you'll need to aspirate will require that you play the pendulum over the void. Dr Potter then throws a magic watering can at the giant plant, sending you a little lower, but also breaking a wall giving access to another room.
Aspirate the wheelbarrow containing the glowing mushroom to the small promontory to the right of the room, then climb onto it and onto the mushroom and do a small ZL+ZR to start bouncing. On the second jump, you should reach a ledge on the right, walk along it to reach a new bouncing mushroom. Once on the top floor, go to the door blocked by a giant petal that you can vacuum.
As before, progress by sucking or blowing the leaves up to this giant plant holding the elevator button. Place Gooigi on the left while Luigi stays on the right, then have each character pull one suction cup and pull both characters, then press A to open it and release the button.
Dr Potter will of course come and take it back from you, so we'll have to go down again... Nothing complicated since all you have to do is place yourself at the edge of the plant to make poor Luigi fall to the ground. The confrontation can begin!
Floor 7: Garden Suites Boss, Dr Potter
The electric saw is on the ground with you and will serve as a weapon against the carnivorous plant of Potter. The strategy is simple although rather complicated to set up at the beginning. The key is to know the attacks of the plant well. It will first attempt a bell attack, then horizontal attacks over at 180°.
The plant will charge and fall directly on you, the idea is to make it catch one of the big bulbs that grows everywhere in the arena. Once the plant has taken the bait, grab the saw and cut its stem! This has the effect of destabilizing its owner, which then gives you all the time you can to flash him and catch him. Repeat the operation two to three times.
Once the boss is defeated, take his watering can and water the little green plant just under the elevator button, it will make the plant grow, creating a natural ladder for Luigi.
