The SMITE 2020 World Cup is about to start at the Hi-Rez Expo that is being held in Atlanta this weekend. We have the names of the eight teams that qualified for the coveted title of SMITE World Champions.

Recap of the first day

Team Rival qualified for the rest of the competition after a crushing 2-0 victory over Sanguine. The outsiders failed to create surprise and to reach the semi-finals.

The Knights lost 1-2 to Dignitas after a very close match. The aggression shown by Dignitas made the difference and allowed the team to move on to the next phase of the competition.

SK Gaming surprised everyone by defeating Slyce, the favourite team in this championship. The third map was decisive and allowed SK to take a clear advantage over their opponent.

The last to qualify for the semi-finals are the members of the Renegades team. By defeating the eUnited 2-1, they made it to the next round of the competition and still have the hope of winning the title of world champions.
