Runes
Core Items
Build
Kraken Slayer will shred through even the hardiest of tanks, a useful benefit for Senna.
Rapid Firecannon grants great range on top of Senna's already impressive range, for low-risk aggression.
Other great items include Guinsoo's Rageblade and Mortal Reminder.
Starting Item & Boots
Skill Order
While your choices may differ according to how the game progresses, the typical Senna skill priority is:
R > Q > W > E
Summoner Spells
These are the summoner spells most typically taken by Senna in this role. Naturally, this may change depending on match-ups.
Gameplay
Senna is quite unique in that she alternates between support and damage dealer. Positioning is key, as many of your abilities require precise targeting. Lategame, after plenty of souls have been collected, she's an exceptional offensive tool.
- Level 1 - Take Q - Piercing Darkness, for the poke and early heal.
- Level 2 - Take W - Last Embrace, for the root potential in lane.
- First Back - Aim for your boots, which will help alleviate Senna's slowness early on.
Tips & Tricks
- Senna's passive has no hard limit. You could theoretically hit 1000 AD, and if you pass the 100% crit chance threshold this bonus will become lifesteal.
- Piercing Darkness can target wards, allied champions, and enemy turrets.
- Piercing Darkness also resets Senna's auto-attack.
- The range of Piercing Darkness increases according to Senna's auto-attack range, hence going for Rapid Firecannon.
- Curse of the Black Mist makes your allies invisible, making it a great tool for ganking lanes or confusing enemy ranks in a teamfight.
- Dawning Shadow inflicts damage only on enemies in the middle of the beam.
