Announced at BlizzCon 2019, the new race customization options for World of Warcraft: Shadowlands are eagerly awaited. We know very little about it, but what are the community's ideas on it? Let's take a look at the best ideas!
On November 1, 2019 , during BlizzCon 2019 , the Shadowlands expansion for World of Warcraft was unveiled. Among the new features, the option to personalize the breeds was without doubt one of the most acclaimed. Although entirely cosmetic and bringing nothing concrete to the game, this will allow players to have a much wider panel in the personalization of their character and this regardless of their race, including for classic races ( Human , Blood Elf , Dwarf ...).
But what can personalizations of other races look like? This is what we will focus on in this entirely speculative articlebased on fan arts by artists from the World of Warcraft community.
Story: What we know for the moment
Unfortunately we only had access to a small number of these customizations, but as a reminder we had an overview of the Trolls, the WildhammerDwarfs and even the possibility of changing the skin color of the Humans , among others ...
More recently, Patch 8.3: Visions of N'Zoth introduced the first wave of character customizations. Although very minor, it allowed players (and still allows today) to change the glow of the eyes of the BloodElves , Night Elves and Death Knights .
What we can expect
At the WoW: What's Next conference at BlizzCon 2019, developers announced that a wide range of options will be available for all races, including over 30 new options for Blood Elves! What might that look like? A few artists in the community have their own ideas, and we'd like you to check them out along with our speculation!
After more than a month of rolling out successive builds, a seventh build of the World of Warcraft Alpha: Shadowlands has appeared on the Battle.net launcher.
