We've already talked about this old woman in an article that announced a potential tribute from Nintendo for her. Audrey was reportedly given a character in Animal Crossing: New Horizons to thank her for her passion for the New Leaf game.
In fact, several questions have arisen regarding this character: the old woman's nickname is Audie in the game, and one of the new wolf residents is also named Audie. However, the grandmother has a question about the choice of animal: is it a little joke about the tale of Little Red Riding Hood, where the grandmother is actually the wolf? Audrey is not sure whether this wolf is a tribute to her.
Through a small youtube video, Audrey gives her opinion on the beginning of the game. She seems to be delighted to start her adventure with oranges on her island and finds the game mechanics great. Especially the pole that allows you to go from one end of the shore to the other. Her fear was that the pole would break when she was in the middle of the river, but her grandson, Paul, says that won't happen.
Audrey also announces that her New Leaf adventure is far from over! She still wants to visit its inhabitants and above all she does not want to abandon her flowers. Audrey is and will remain an unconditional fan of Animal Crossing.
