New Format
Rather than Home Series weekends taking place from Saturday to Sunday, the nine remaining events will now begin on Friday and conclude on Sunday, reverting to a format that was previously used in past seasons of Call of Duty esports.
In order to maintain the highest levels of competitive integrity, the CDL and Modern Warfare developers Infinity Ward have been working to implement new dedicated servers to create the fairest environment possible given the circumstances.
The GSL group format will remain the same.

Call of Duty Challengers
With all the changes to the professional scene, the amateur circuit has also undergone change. The Challengers division will now feature dedicated tournaments in Europe, North American and Asia-Pacific regions. Each Challengers event organised by the franchises will go ahead online with their own prize pool and it has been revealed that the CDL will be hosting five two-day events complete with a $50,000 prize pool.
The Dallas Empire Open event kicks off online Challengers competition from April 11th-12th.
