Each Valorant map has a specificity that makes it unique. Haven has three bomb sites, Bind has two teleporters, and Split has ropes.
These ropes allow you to go up and down, all quickly and without noise. As you can see in the video below published by Octopaulx on Reddit, the accuracy when using a rope is far from being disastrous.
Is it normal to be so accurate when climbing a rope? According to Riot Games, it's intended.
"Accuracy on ascenders is a bit worse than walking state. These are nice shots, but also some luck involved. We're keeping an eye on how it plays and will tune as needed," said Pearl "ManWolfAxeBoss" Hogbass, "To clarify, there's also no move speed bonus. If you're just going up/down without walk held, you move about the same speed as when running with an Operator." (Source)
Unlike Counter-Strike: Global Offensive's ladders, Riot Games apparently decided that using ropes wouldn't cause the accuracy to drop. It means that they're choosing to make them a possible advantage rather than a constant disadvantage.
While the ropes aren't subject to any changes after this discovery, the video is also showcasing Jett jumping on the top of the door — something that wasn't intended, and that should be fixed soon.
