The TSM controversy train just rumbles on this off-season, and now the League of Legends organization's founder and CEO Andy "Reginald" Dinh has spoken on the Leena/Dardoch phone call and on Leena's performance as an executive.
Firstly, he starts off by saying criticism of TSM from all parties is 'valid', apologizing for how the organization has 'managed the communication' of Dardoch's apparent move away. He says the org's goal is to set a good example for other orgs, and that they have failed to live up to those standards.
He also says he has spoken to Dardoch personally to apologize and try to 'make him feel good'.
Dinh also goes on to address the issue of Doublelift's transfer, his relationship with Leena, and potential conflict of interest, He clarifies her role, saying she is not responsible for TSM's LCS roster in any way, with her position focused on expanding into other esports.
He feels there was enough distance between their working relationship for the move to be acceptable, and states that he felt Doublelift was the best candidate for the role given TSM's past success with him on the roster. He also says that this came after 'our players and coaches and analysts unanimously approached me to sign Doublelift'.
FInally, he talks about the issue of Doublelift having access to confidential information given his relationship, to which he claims that the Dardoch transfer was not a secret within the org. He states that the decision was made by General Manager Parth Naidu.
He also asked for the online backlash against Leena to cease, stating her hard work has helped TSM become profitable.
