Following the big summer update of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, new features have been added to the game. So players can now swim in the ocean and dive to capture sea creatures. But with these new features, some bugs have appeared. A corrective update was therefore launched today: 1.3.1.
How do I download the update?
If the update does not start by itself:
- Turn on your Nintendo Switch
- Go to the Animal Crossing New Horizons game and press "+"
- Select "Update" then "via internet"
Version 1.3.1 Official Patch Notes
Ver. 1.3.1 (Released July 9, 2020)
The software has been updated if you see “Ver. 1.3.1” in the upper-right corner of the title screen.
Bug Fixes
- Addressed issue where players could not properly use a zen bridge or red zen bridge placed on top of a cliff (third tier).
- Addressed issue where a wet suit would not be available for sale within Nook’s Cranny.
- Addressed issue where hermit crabs would appear in places other than the beach.
- Addressed issue where a dialogue bubble would improperly appear after speaking with island residents.

Summer period in Animal Crossing means Fireworks! These will certainly make their comeback with the free update planned for August.
