Cyberpunk 2077: The studio warns against fraudulent emails related to a fake beta

The anticipation and hype for Cyberpunk 2077 is going through some people's heads. Polish studio CD Projekt Red has tweeted recent findings about malicious emails that are spreading, intended to mislead and deceive gamers by offering to sign up for a non-existent beta. The studio calls for vigilance by recalling that no beta is on the agenda, and that if this was the case, we should only trust official channels and not third parties.

To find out if it's a malicious email that has managed to pass through your spams, check the sender: if it does not end with @cdprojektred.com, it's a fake one.

As a reminder, Cyberpunk 2077 is planned for release November 19 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC.
