Cloud 9 has established itself as one of the teams to watch on Valorant's highly competitive North American stage. Although it hasn't won a tournament in the Ignition Series, it has accomplished some honourable performances, finishing 2nd in the PAX Arena Invitational.
Satisfied with its team's performance, the organization has chosen continuity. After several months of testing, it made the last member of its team official. Daniel "Vice" Kim (re)becomes a full-fledged player of Cloud 9.
Vice comes to a place he knows well for two reasons. First, because he's been playing with the team since June 15 and the Immortals First Light tournament. If at the time, only Tyson "TenZ" Ngo was a full-fledged Cloud 9 player., all the players present that day are now under contract. They had time to progress together and build their team synergy.
Moreover, before Valorant, Vice had made himself known in CS:GO. Although he had never managed to break through at the highest level, he had had the opportunity to wear the colors of well-known teams such as TSM, Rogue and Denials Esports. A nod from fate, his last team on Valve's FPS was none other than Cloud 9, with whom he stayed several months in test.
