You'll be able to explore Norway and England sooner than expected as Ubisoft announced today that Assassin's Creed Valhalla will finally be released not on November 17, 2020 but on November 10, 2020, a week earlier to coincide with the release of the Xbox Series X | S.
AC Valhalla will therefore be one of the two launch games for Microsoft's new console, alongside Watch Dogs Legion. The game's advanced release also includes other platforms, Xbox One, PS4, Stadia and PC, and the game will be available on Playstation 5 as soon as the console is launched.
With next-generation console capabilities, Assassin's Creed Valhalla will benefit from higher graphics, as well as 4K and 60 fps resolution on Xbox Series X | S.
As a reminder, Assassin's Creed Valhalla will have three different editions that you can pre-order:
- The standard edition, at $59.99 on PC and $69.99 on consoles.
- The Gold Edition, at €$99.99, including the Season Pass for future DLCs.
- The Ultimate Edition, at $119,99, which includes the Season Pass and additional in-game items.
- The Collector's Edition, at $199.99, which includes the Ultimate Edition, as well as a 5 cm male Viking Eivor statuette, a 30 cm female Eivor figurine, a Premium Certificate of Authenticity, a selection of the game's soundtrack, a set of three lithographs, and a steelbook.
