The Night City Wire 4 focused on the presentation of the different vehicles available, motorcycles, cars, trucks and others, including Johnny Silverhand's Porsche 911.

Cyberpunk 2077: Vehicles Overview and Styles

Vehicles will be an important part of Cyberpunk 2077. From modest rides to battle tanks and supercharged racing cars, there's something in Night City for every taste and budget.

In a new video, CD Projekt Red teased some of the vehicles you'll be able to get your hands on once the game finally drops on December 10.

Here are the main details to know:

  • Vehicles can be bought or stolen, and there are more than 40 different models.
  • Vehicles come in a variety of states — some have been tinkered with or are in poor condition, others will have their performance enhanced with special customizations.
  • There will be several races in which you can stake a claim for victory — you will need a good vehicle and weapons to win.
  • Vehicles purchased are unique, and it is impossible to name them.
  • Collaborations and special releases are also planned, such as Johnny Silverhand's Porsche 911 Turbo 1977.

Motorcycle fans are not forgotten either, with several models included in the game. This includes the Arch Motorcycle, a real-world model designed and developed by Keanu Reeves' company.

Cyberpunk 2077: Styles

Styles are also quite important in Cyberpunk 2077. They can be found everywhere, from vehicles to implants. They define identity and reflect lifestyles.

  • Entropism: A ghetto style adopted by the poor, who can barely afford something vaguely functional to survive, and who can't afford something beautiful or efficient. These are patched up with cardboard and plastic, their owners wearing clothes that are too small or ragged, and with cyberwares that are rusty or have visible pistons.
  • Neo-militarism: A clean and sober style that focuses on functionality above all. It is mostly adopted by corporations and their agents; those who are looking for efficiency. Generally very dark and angular, this style is well represented by guards in armor, managers in suits and the futuristic equivalents of brands like Mercedes.
  • Neo-kitsch: Celebrities and those at the top of corporations can afford top of the line gear, which combines both unique aesthetics and solid performance.

CD Projekt Red perform U-turn on Cyberpunk 2077 crunch promise

Having previously promised that crunch working conditions would not happen for the development of Cyberpunk 2077, the Polish developer have now reportedly ordered its employees to work overtime in the run up to the game's release.
