We're now less than 15 days away from the official release of Cyberpunk 2077 — after three reports. It's the opportunity to learn a little more about the arrival of potential DLC and a multiplayer mode.
Although the game has been delayed for several months, this doesn't really change the schedule that CD Red Projekt had set. We now have confirmation that DLC are planned for CP2077 (source).
While they were initially expected to be announced before the official release of the game, we now know that we'll have to wait a few more weeks before knowing more about the future of the game.
Kicinski, CD Red Projekt Joint CEO, said that Cyberpunk will have no less DLC than The Witcher 3 — which corresponds to two extensions.
We should also see the arrival of a season pass, but we'll also have to be patient and wait for the release of the game before getting a glimpse of what the Polish studio has in store for us.
Cyberpunk 2077 Multiplayer
As for the arrival of a multiplayer game mode, we'll have to be patient as its release isn't expected before 2022. It won't simply be a multiplayer mode, but rather a standalone game, with its own development team and production.
We'll probably have more information on the subject at the beginning of 2021, when CD Projekt Red will officially announce its strategy for the coming years.
