Daniel "Dan" Hockley will finally get a shot at the LEC after the former Fnatic Rising jungler and free agent signed with Excel Esports.

After two years spent at Fnatic Rising, the junior team of the League of Legends giants, the British jungler has made the widely-expected move to Twickenham to replace fellow Brit Marc "Caedrel" Lamont.

Dan was unable to supplant Oskar "Selfmade" Boderek during his time at Fnatic, failing to play a single LEC fixture in his two years. He only had one small chance to show off his talents at Rift Rivals last year, featuring in a win over Team Liquid and a loss to TSM.

Dan has proved a success in the regional leagues, accumulating three league titles across the UKLC and NLC. He also participated in the Europeans Masters three times, failing to get beyond the quarter-finals.

All that is missing for Excel now is a midlaner to replace Joran "Special" Scheffer, who was released following the end of his contract.
