CD Projekt is officially responding to the outcry over the PS4 and Xbox One fat versions of Cyberpunk 2077. We won't dwell too much on the latter's issues, you should all know the story by now. In a new tweet posted to the game's official Twitter account, studio officials look back on the past few days, starting with an apology and then detailing what happened next.
Information to remember
- The next patch will arrive within 7 days. Whenever new upgrades are ready, the game will be updated.
- Patch #1 and Patch #2 will arrive after the holidays, with many fixes for fat consoles in January and February. CDPR measures things all the same, specifying that this will obviously not be at the level of new generation machines or a large PC.
- CD Projekt would obviously like you to hang on to your release while the fixes arrive, however, the Polish studio says digital refunds are allowed. For physical versions, try to get it through the store you bought it from, otherwise you can email helpmerefund@cdprojektred.com until December 21st.
