Animal Crossing: New Horizons latest update was released on February 25. This update marks the end of the snow, the arrival of new objects for Saint Patrick's Day, but above all the future availability of furniture from the Mario Series – which will be available from March 1.

If the version notation at the top right of the software title screen is "Ver. 1.8.0", it means that it has been updated.
General
- Collaboration elements have been added to match the 35th anniversary of Super Mario Bros.
- You can order them through Nook Shopping after March 1, 2021.

Bug fixes
- Fixed a bug where the Nintendo Switch "User" nickname was displayed in "In-game name" of "Software played together".

New seasonal items and Mario
By downloading update 1.8.0 you will automatically receive an animated Mushroom Mural in your mailbox! In addition, as of February 25, new seasonal items are available at the Nook Stop kiosk:
The Hinamatsuri festival
From February 25 to March 3, for the doll festival in Japan, it will be possible to order a set of dolls and a Bonbori lamp via Nook Shopping.
Saint Patrick's Day objects
From March 10 to 17, for St. Patrick's Day, it will be possible to order 3 items via Nook Shopping: a green drink, a shamrock rug and a shamrock wall decoration. In addition, special clothes will be available for purchase at the Fairy Fingers Shop.
Pi day
From March 1 to 14, for Pi Day, it will be possible to order a pie with the Pi symbol in its center via the Nook Shopping.
As a reminder, items from the Mario Series will only be available from March 1 on the game. You will find the complete list of furniture below.
If you cannot access this new content, make sure your version of the game is 1.8.0. Do not hesitate to force the update via the Home Menu, by pressing "+" on the Animal Crossing game. Then select "update" and "search for update". Also consider owning Nintendo Switch Online if you want to enjoy the online features with your friends.
