Jungler Raymond "Griffin" Griffin will have to look for a new team after CLG decided to let him go

CLG lets go of jungler Griffin after almost three years of service

CLG has made an adjustment to their League of Legends Academy roster: long-time player Raymond "Griffin" Griffin has been removed from the team.

Griffin joined the team in May 2018 as the jungler for CLG's Academy team, then still using the moniker Wiggily. That Summer Split, the team reached second place in the Academy Playoffs. Following the success in the Academy league, Griffin was promoted to play for CLG's LCS roster in the 2019 Summer Split. When the 2020 Spring Split went badly for the team, Griffin went back to play mainly for the Academy team, where he played his final months as part of the organisation.

For both CLG's LCS roster as well as the Academy team, 2021 has been rough. In the LCS, CLG couldn't reach a higher place than ninth, picking up just five wins in the season so far. Their Academy team sits at a 3-6 score, at an eighth place in the Academy league.
