Soon, Apex Legends enthusiasts will be able to play the game wherever they please. EA released a blog teasing the arrival of a mobile version of the battle royale game, with a beta rolling out this month.
The beta will start with an incredibly small sample size, Game Director Chad Grenier explained. Only a relative handful of players from India and the Philippines will get access this months. As the developers optimize and stabilize Apex Legends Mobile, the beta will expand to more regions. Later down the line, EA also plans on releasing Apex Legends Mobile for iOS devices.
Much like the PC and console versions, Apex Legends' mobile port will be free-to-play. There will be a battle pass to unlock cosmetics, though it will be tuned specifically to the mobile client. Since the game is specifically designed and optimized for mobile platforms, cross-play won't be available between Android devices and consoles or PCs.
