G2 makes sweeping changes to VALORANT roster

G2 Esports has picked up a big proverbial broom and cleaned up their VALORANT roster. The organisation has parted ways with three players and replaced them with new faces shortly after.

Ardis “ardiis” Svarenieks, Patryk “paTiTek” Fabrowski, and Aleksander “zeek” Zygmunt are no longer part of G2. paTiTek joined the team in June last year, with ardiis hopping on board just a few weeks later. zeek's stint with G2 is especially short, as he joined G2 just in January this year.

The three successors, completing the five-man roster, have amassed quite some European success already in VALORANT's short history as an esport. Jose Luis "koldamenta" Aranguren Herrero found success with Acend, winning the first Masters event. Auni "AvovA" Chahade and Žygimantas "nukkye" Chmieliauskas, who join from Team Heretics, were on the opposite side of that same Masters final.

G2's full lineup now is:

  • mixwell
  • pyth
  • nukkye
  • AvovA
  • koldamenta
