Call of Duty: Vanguard has only just been introduced, but Activision is already moving unstoppably towards launch in November. With Alpha and Beta phases confirmed for the next few months, players have been waiting to see just when they would take place.
When can you try CoD: Vanguard for free?
Over the next several weeks, players will have different opportunities to try out Call of Duty: Vanguard.
The first of these will be an Alpha test that will take place exclusively for PlayStation players, officially confirmed for next weekend (August 27-29). It's not necessary to make any kind of application, and it will be available to download soon.
This first phase of testing will give us the opportunity to take a look at the new game mode included in Vanguard, which promises to be a modified and miniature version of the Warzone battle royale.
In addition, the official Call of Duty also confirms the release dates of various beta phases.
These will take place on two weekends, and their availability will vary depending on platform and whether you have preordered the game.
