Whether or not Rogue win the LEC title this summer won't halt their march towards Worlds. In addition to securing their spot at the League of Legends flagship event, the organization has also tied down talented midlaner Larsson until the end of 2023.

LoL: Rogue extends Larssen deal until 2023

Despite their loss to MAD Lions in the LEC Playoffs, Rogue still have a chance to win the overall Summer Split title to go alongside their Worlds qualification.

Following this success, the European League of Legends side quickly sought continuity and renewed Inspired's deal. Now they have done the same for midlaner Larssen, tying the Swedish star to a contract until the end of 2023.

Larssen first joined the European elite with H2K in 2018, playing two matches as a substitute. However, it was with Rogue that he earned his stripes, progressing through the academy team before finally being promoted to the LEC roster.

He quickly made his mark, having taken part in every Playoffs since. After finishing third and then second, there is only one hurdle left to overcome, something he could yet achieve this split.

With Rogue renewing his deal, the entire roster is tied down until at least the end of next year - allowing for greater continuity and the opportunity for the team to progress even further.

While debates may rage over better midlane options, Rogue have gone for proven success within the roster -- the best strategy for consistency in growth.
