Hideo Kojima promised that he would release a launch trailer for Death Stranding Director's Cut, and the Japanese creator has now fulfilled that pledge.
Edited by Kojima himself, the trailer features his signature cinematographic style, heavily relying on music for added atmosphere.
This time, the action is set to the beat of Woodkid's Goliath.
This new version of the game will have improvements for PS5, such as haptic feedback for environmental effects via the DualSense wireless controller, improvements in 3D audio, and instant load times.
There will also be two image modes - Performance features dynamic 4K at up to 60fps, while Fidelity mode sees native 4K and a lower refresh rate. Both come with ultra-wide and HDR support.
In addition, the Director's Cut will have new weapons and items such as the jetpack and the catapult , as well as motor racing and other features. The icing on the cake is a series new missions, more focused on infiltration and which will add more to the story.
Death Stranding Director's Cut is pencilled in for release on September 24.
