Whereas the group stage of MSI 2019 is starting tomorrow, G2 Esports revealed that Mikyx would, actually, compete in the international tournament. After a wrist injury was diagnosed earlier in the year, the player will participate after all.

Less than 24 hours before the MSI group stage kick off, it was about time for G2 Esports to reveal their roster. Did support player Mihael "Mikyx" Mehle recovered from his wrist injury, or was he obligated to step down for Hampus "promisq" Mikael?

The suspense is now over. This afternoon, head coach Fabian "GrabbZ" Lohmann confirmed in Twitter that the Slovenian player would be part of the main roster for the event.

Samurais will start the tournament by facing off T1... it will be an exciting match to watch.
