However, fans shouldn't be so quick to get excited — the developer also revealed that Cyberpunk 2077 multiplayer will not be included with the game from the start. Instead, it will come later.
In a pair of tweets, CDPR said that their primary focus is initially on the singleplayer portion of the game only, alongside planned DLC. This content will seemingly be free of charge, according to CDPR's tweets.
As explained by Eurogamer, Cyberpunk 2077 multiplayer had previously been described as something still in "R&D" until very recently — with a real possibility that it wouldn't be a thing at all.
CD Projekt Red also took the opportunity to highlight jobs that are available with the studio to help build the multiplayer aspect of the game.
Cyberpunk 2077 is due to be released on April 16, 2020, for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
