Chaingun
Returning with major changes, the machine gun takes on a new look and no longer needs several seconds to start firing at maximum speed. It adopts a style similar to the DOOM [2016] pistol.
It still uses EMG rounds as with the Pistol from DOOM [2016], and it still has the turret mod from the previous game. The second mod deploys a protective shield.
This makes it the ideal weapon to pulverize hordes of demons without aiming, or to shred a single enemy quickly by concentrating shots.
Chaingun: Modifications
Energy Shield
You deploy a large blue shield to absorb damage from the front.
Modifications:
- Faster Recovery
- Dash Smash
- Shield Launch
Mobile Turret
Deploys the machine gun, which now fires with four barrels for maximum rate of fire.

- Rapid Deploy
- Fast Gunner
- Ultimate Cooling
