How to swim in the ocean
You will not be able to enter the water without a swimsuit! Your first mission is therefore to buy a kind of wetsuit at Boutique Nook. Different colors will be available every day. It is also possible to buy it at the Nookstop for 800 Miles.
Once the swimsuit is put on, head to the beach. You can enter the water directly or choose to jump from the pontoon. Your hunt for shellfish can finally begin.
Find Scallops
Scallops are shells found underwater. Explore the ocean and as soon as you see a shadow underwater, it's time to dive. You can then harvest starfish, anemones, eels or even scallops.
Find Pascal
Sometimes Pascal will appear at the edge of the ocean. You can then exchange all the Scallops you have kept for him. He will then give you craft plans to make Furniture from the Mermaid Collection.
