Act 1 Shinto Shrines
The Shrines marked in blue don't require Taka's grappling hook, but those in red do. You must complete all quests displayed with a gold icon to get it.
We strongly advise you to start with the Shrine on the Northeast coast which will give you a passive life regeneration outside of battle charm, and then the one on the Southeast coast which will unlock a charl that will more or less double many resources (Rations, Leather, Predator Skins, Bamboo, etc.), allowing you to upgrade your equipment much more quickly.
Act 2 Shinto Shrines
You'll probably notice a significant increase in difficulty in this act.
Act 3 Shinto Shrines
This act is rather poor Shrine-wise.
