In Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5, bounties are a new feature that allows you to combine business with pleasure. The assassination of certain players will earn you many gold bars.
Bounties are negotiated with the new neutral NPCs — 40 in total. Note that they'll only attack you if you give them the first shot/blow.
You can list them in the Collection tab of the menu, and they appear in Named Locations or Landmarks during each game.
How to negotiate a bounty?
- Approach the NPC to interact with him/her.
- Spin the wheel to Bounty.
- Validate it.
Once the bounty is launched, a player's name appears on your screen, and a circular orange area appears on your map. The player to be knocked down is in this zone. If you kill him within the time limit, you succeed in your contract!
Every successful bounty gives you a nice amount of gold bars, which you can spend on other NPCs later!
