Runes
In Wild Rift, the Kleptomancy keystone is a great fit for mages that can frequently poke the enemy team. Triggering this rune on lux is rather easy, and you'll frequently be able to benefit from its effect.
In red, Champion works will with mages that attack from a distance. Your early game will be devastating, and you shouldn't die a lot if you're able to keep yourself away from the enemy melee champions.
Regeneration is always useful on mages, since it will provide you with some added health or mana regen, depending on which one you need the most. Reaching Manaflow Band's mana cap on Lux is extremely easy and it allows you to take a carefree approach to mana conservation later on in the game.

- During the laning phase, a lot of Lux's damage comes from her passive, Illumination. Try to activate it as much as possible with the following combo: Spell -> Auto-Attack -> Spell -> Auto-Attack.
