As Season 3 of Warzone continues to progress, Activision has announced it has bought back a popular feature involving the Call of Duty companion app.
The app enabled players to gift a Battle Pass to a friend that had yet to purchase the pass which features 100 Tiers of exclusive content ranging from weapon blueprints to Operator skins.
Despite proving popular during the Modern Warfare cycle, players haven't been able to utilize the feature during the Black Ops Cold War cycle until now.
Here's how to gift a Warzone Battle Pass to another player.
How To Gift Warzone Battle Pass
The process of gifting the Battle Pass to another player is extremely simple.
Before doing so, ensure that your Activision account has two-factor authentication active along with the recipient of the Battle Pass is on your friends' list for over seven days.
Once checked, here's what you need to do:
- Download the Call of Duty companion app.
- Log into your Activision account.
- Head to the "Player" tab at the bottom of the screen.
- Select the "Gift Battle Pass" option.
- Choose which player you want to receive the Battle Pass.
- Complete the purchase!
The player receiving the Battle Pass will need to load into Warzone and access the "Battle Pass" tab to receive the token. Once redeemed, the player will start the Battle Pass at Tier 0.
