In Monster Hunter World, you must not just attack the monsters until death. You have to go through different phases of preparation beforehand, and you have to know the terrain of each region well if possible, and its different residents, big or small.
It is possible to capture some creatures to use them during the current quest. They should not be confused with your Buddies.

This equipment can be forged and equipped like other weapons and armors. It attracts certain creatures like Spiribird and stores their pollen. The type of Petalace equipped will determine the bonuses obtained, their duration, etc.
