For those who prefer to take on monsters from afar without sacrificing mobility, the Light Bowgun is the perfect choice. Even though it isn't capable of dealing as much damage as the heavy version, it has other advantages. In Monster Hunter Rise, the fundamentals of the gameplay don't change. It is possible to strafe monsters with different types of ammo (elemental, stun, soporific, etc.) while moving, and the gameplay is almost identical to its version of Monster Hunter World, mines included. The difference lies in the addition of the Wirebugs which gives it even more mobile gameplay, and even aerial. In addition, new types of ammunition are entering, such as elemental armor-piercing ammunition. The explosive cluster munitions are also making a comeback for the light version, which will certainly please its followers.

At the moment we are delivering the basic commands and techniques here, there are more hidden or unlockable in the full game. It is also too early to say the best way to play this weapon. It is nevertheless a good starting point.
