Special Armor
These Amiibos are useful in-game. Using them unlocks cosmetic armor for your Palico, your Palamute, and your own character (according to its gender). The Magnamalo unlocks the hunter's armor visual.
In-game Lottery
Hopefully, things don't stop there: Kagero the merchant is waiting for you in Kamura Village. He sometimes organizes sales accompanied by a lottery that gives a chance to win various items.
The appeal of Amiibos allows you to enter the lottery up to 3 times a day, once per Amiibo.
