The only fire-based footballing bunny rabbit in Pokémon Unite, ranged Attacker Cinderace can be earned by players simply logging in eight days in a row as part of the 14-Day Welcome Gifts promotion.

Our guide helps you understand Cinderace's moveset and choose the best abilities as you level up, as well as suggest the best Held Items and Battle Items to equip.

You'll start the battle as Scorbunny, evolving into Raboot at Level 5, and Cinderace at Level 7.

Cinderace: Item Choices

These are the items we recommend equipping on Cinderace before you head into battle.

Be mindful that you can equip up to three Held Items and one Battle Item. All stats are based on items being Level 1, without having been upgraded.

Held Items

Focus Band

Def +2
Sp. Def 0

When the Pokémon drops to low HP, then each second for three seconds, it recovers 8% of the HP it had lost.

Muscle Band

Atk +1
Basic Atk Speed +0%

When basic attacks hit, the damage is increased by 1% of the opponent's opposing HP.

Scope Lens

Critical-Hit Rate +0.4 %
Critical-Hit Damage 0%

Increases the damage of basic attack critical hits. The higher the Pokémon's Attack, the more the damage increases.

Battle Item

Eject Button

Cooldown: 55 seconds

Quickly moves your Pokémon in the designated direction.

With his Unite Move, Blazing Bicycle Kick, Cinderace shoots a flaming football at his opponents, inflicting enormous damage. Being an Attacker, Cinderace's objective is to do as much damage as possible before going down or escaping. Think of him as a glass cannon.

The Focus Band allows it to survive just that little bit longer in battles, while the Muscle Band and Scope Lens amplify its damage output.

As with most Attackers, the Eject Button is a vital disengage tool.

Cinderace Gameplay

Cinderace: Starting Attack

Ember

Cooldown: 6 seconds

Kicks a small fire to the opponent. Damages the opponent and burns them, lowering their attack.

Ember is perfect when starting as it allows you to be useful right away in skirmishes, rather than having to spend time farming. It can also be used to take down wild pokemon for those easy levels.

Cinderace: Best Moves

With Pyro Ball doing the damage on a relatively small cooldown, this allows us to pick up Feint for sustainability and the abilty to get out of tricky situations. This is ideal for becoming a prolific goalscorer, especially towards the later game when you're closer to the enemy base.

Pyro Ball

Cooldown: 7 seconds

Kicks the ball in the direction and hits the opponent. It also can burn the opponent

Upgrade at Level 11: Cooldown for Flame Charge or Feint reduces after using this attack

Feint

Cooldown: 13 seconds

Increase the user's movement speed for a short time and makes the invincible. If used, while the user is affected by hindrances, removes any hindrances affecting the user.

Upgrade at Level 13: The next 3 basic attacks will restore Hit Points

Cinderace: Passive Ability

Blaze

When the Pokémon is at half HP or less, its critical-hit rate and attack speed are increased. When the Pokémon use a move, its next basic attack becomes a boosted attack.
