This New World trade levelling guide focuses on Jewelcrafting, the profession that allows players craft amulets, rings, earrings and trinket components.
While there are several ways to increase proficiency, it will help those who want to level up their Jewelcrafting skill without committing too many resources to unnecessary recipes.
NOTE: New World recipes such as those below simply ask for materials of a certain tier, e.g. "Trinket Chain, Precious Metal" etc.
Where possible, we've listed the more common material as it's usually cheaper/easier to obtain. However, prepare for a very, very significant grind.
For example, where we've put 'Silver Ingot', you could really use any type of Precious Metal -- Silver, Gold, Platinum, Orichalcum, and even Asmodeum. The same goes for the chains and settings.
Crafted items are differentiated by the gems you use, but ultimately it doesn't matter which you use for levelling purposes. Where necessary, we've listed that which we think is easiest to get hold of.
However, be mindful that the gem you choose to use will need specific elemental ingredients. For example, cutting an Amber requires Earth elementals (Motes, Wisps, Essence).
The type you use will affect the gear score of the piece.
Foreword: Jewelcrafting
Crafting amulets and other jewelry is quite a feat in New World.
Firstly, you must have all the components you need to make a particular piece, which includes Trinket Chains, Trinket Gem Settings, and Precious Metals.
As for Gemstones themselves, you can obtain them when mining Precious Metal veins (such as Silver and Gold). Having the Mining skill to go along with Jewelcrafting is absolutely a necessity.
To create a Cut Gem from a Raw Gem, you need to use the Stonecutting Table in your settlement.
