Wyrdwood is a tree found in the wilds of New World which players can farm and turn into Wyrdwood Planks.

A grand tree with infused blue magic, it is found quite infrequently. However, there are a few notable clusters.

Here's what you'll need and where the best areas are to find Wyrdwood in New World.

What do you need Wyrdwood & Wyrdwood Planks for in New World?

A Tier IV wood used in Woodworking, logging Wyrdwood will give you timber that is used used to create Wyrdwood Planks. This is then used in a number of Arcana, Weaponsmithing, Engineering and Furnishing recipes.

In order to log the Wyrdwood tree, you'll need a Logging Axe. There's a level cap of 100 you have to reach in Logging, and you'll be able to track Wyrdwood nodes from Logging Skill Lv. 125.

The best locations to farm Wyrdwood Trees in New World

Primarily found in the north of Aeternum, there's a few notable clusters for those who have leveled up sufficiently to survive. However, you should be prepared to travel a bit, as clusters are small and spread out.

Three areas in Brightwood

The first cluster is just to the north of the Wolfbough Shrine, with another slightly more north around the Orphan Cave.

The next is in the central area of the territory. You'll find clusters on the east bank of the river, near Brightrest Cemetery, and next to the road east of Shervey's Lumbermill.

Finally, there are several clusters in the Greyvale in the north-east of the region. One is found just east of Cathedral de Vasquez, then two more on the waterfront as you continue east. The last few are found further east, surrounding Gren's Place.

Down by the waters of Edengrove

There's two main clusters here, quite far apart. Fast travel into the Valor Hold Outpost, and then head north to the Genesis of Spite. Clusters are to the north and south sides of Ombrage.

Then, head around the lake and past Panellus/Malveillance to the Cruel Vista, where there's another cluster on the southern side of the mountain just below Knot Rust.

Deep in the Great Cleave

For this trek, you could fast travel into Mountainhome in the Shattered Mountains. There's a cluster just to the south, and then if you head southeast the next cluster is just east of Sivkin's Stand in the Great Cleave.

Head southeast to The Bite, with another cluster just south of Tundramouth Burrow, then follow the path past the Eastburn Outpost and into the Frosted Floe. There's two clusters either side of the river, one on the west bank under the mountains, and the other surrounding the Concretus Steps.

There's another cluster to the west, over the mountain and to the north of Cleave's Malice.

In the Polder's Flood area of Weaver's Fen

A geat location to find clusters of Wyrdwood without having to traipse around an entire region is Weaver's Fen, a Lv. 30-40 territory.

Fast travel into the Settlement, then follow the path north-east. Take a right at the fork, and your first cluster will be on the left. Then, perform a clockwise circle around Canopus to mop up the remaining three clusters, which end just before Andrometus.
