Increasing your reputation during the Winter Convergence Festival in New World unlocks more rewards in the special holiday-themed shop.

This is accessed by visiting the Winter Wanderer in one of the special holiday villages in Everfall, Brightwood, Weaver's Fen, and Monarch's Bluffs.

How to earn Winter Convergence Reputation

There are four ways you can increase your reputation, revolving around recovering Lost Presents and Gleamite.

Here's the reputation breakdown:

  • Lost Present (Ground): +5 reputation
  • Lost Present (Sky): +25 reputation
  • Gleamite (Small): +5 reputation
  • Gleamite (Large): +25 reputation

You can find Lost Presents all over Aeternum, both off the beaten track and at points of interest. Sometimes, you'll see Lost Presents flying overhead; in this case, take aim with a ranged weapon and shoot them down.

You'll also see shooting stars fall to earth, which you should follow to their landing spots. The larger Gleamite Chunks will need to be mined.

You can also exchange Gleamite for Winter Tokens, so this is a good way to farm up the currency you need to purchase all the rewards while increasing your reputation.

Visit Settlements

Another way to increase reputation is to visit the settlements of Aeternum.

In each you'll find a Tree of Light in the centre, under which you can see piles of gifts. Every day, you can open a gift in each settlement, which will give you some gold and a random metal ingot. You'll also get some reputation.

The quality of the gift depends on the special Winter Convergence-themed Town Project -- the higher the Tree's tier, the better the rewards. Therefore, it's important to participate in the Town Project over the life of the event.

This is the reputation breakdown:

  • Hastily Wrapped Present (Tier 1 Tree): +50 reputation
  • Beautifully Wrapped Present (Tier 2 Tree): +100 reputation
  • Exquisitely Wrapped Present (Tier 3 Tree): +150 reputation

In addition, you can visit the four Winter Villages and raid the Bountiful Gift Sack to increase your reputation by 125.

In total you can collect a maximum of 14 gifts daily from the settlements and Winter Villages.

Remember that the event and its rewards are extremely limited, so it's worth spending the time each day to collect as much as you can.

Town Projects

Participating in the special Town Projects is also highly recommended, not only for the reputation but to increase the tier of a settlement's Tree of Light.

As with the usual Town Projects, you'll have to contribute resources, as well as wooden toys, garlands, and more. Each will grant you five reputation points.

While not as much as the other methods, all reputation counts -- especially when the event is limited in time.

Be mindful, the act of crafting the Winter items doesn't award reputation, just the handing in.
