The prerequisites for accessing the quest "Summertime Odyssey: I"
The Golden Apple Archipelago is making a comeback in Genshin Impact, but to access it, you will need to meet a few prerequisites.
- Have an adventure level greater than or equal to 32
- Complete Archons Chapter II: Prologue - Autumn Winds, Scarlet Leaves
- Complete Mona's story quest - Act 1
If you haven't done Mona's story quest, you can use the "Quick Start" feature in the event menu.
Unlock access to Golden Apple Archipelago
To access this temporary area, you will need to do the quest " Summertime Odyssey: I". The first step in this mission is to visit Catherine of the Adventurers' Guild in Mondstadt. She will tell you that you got a message and then you need to join Fischl.
You find her with Mona and after a dialogue phase, the real quest begins and you will have to go to the Gift of the Angel. If the name doesn't mean much to you, it's the Mondstadt tavern. Upon entering it, a cutscene plays and you see Xinyan, Venti, and Kazuha sitting at a table. Then go upstairs to have a new conversation with the bard. He will give you a Dodommunicator.
Then pass the time until it's between 8 and 10 the next day. Now all you have to do is go to the city gates where you will find Mona and Fischl. After a new conversation, cross the bridge in front of the city of Mondstadt to join your means of transport which is not very common. After a rather obscure journey, you find yourself on an island where new dialogues await you.
The quest is not over yet since you have to go to the one in front of you, however if you look at your map, you are indeed on the Golden Apple Archipelago. It's up to you to continue the quest or not, but for the sake of consistency, we're finishing it.
To get there, do not try to waste time swimming, rather use the boat which is made available next to the teleportation point.
After crossing wind and tide, you are in front of a strange machine. Kazuha informs you that there is someone else on the island and you must use your elemental sight to find this famous person. At the end of the road, you will come across a Fatui that you will have to defeat to trigger a scene where another member will intervene. After they leave, you must return to your camp.
Contact Venti with the Dodommunicator by climbing the small hill above your camp. After a final phase of dialogue, you finally finish the quest. You can now search for Illusory Conch found on islands.
