Disney Dreamlight Valley is finally released this Tuesday, September 6, 2022 in Early Access on all platforms. The opportunity for you to discover this magical world and restore it by finding lost Disney and Pixar characters. All means are good: whether it's exploring the open world by unlocking the passages of nocturnal thorns thanks to the Dreamlight, or going through the castle and its magic paintings. Today, we are going to focus on Rémy and the world of Ratatouille.
Ratatouille: Successfully complete Remy's main mission
At the start of the game, you can unlock the entrance to the castle with the Dreamlight (dust to be collected by completing challenges). Merlin will then ask you to choose between three paintings which are actually portals leading to other worlds. The one on the right will take you to the Pixar world of Ratatouille with irresistible music composed by Michael Giacchino. Rémy being a rat, he is very small: look carefully on the ground to find him and start the mission.
An important evening at the restaurant
Go inside the painting to discover Remy's restaurant and talk to him. It will teach you how to cook simple dishes by allowing you to collect ingredients for free from the various stalls in the room. Note that this fills your inventory but you won't be able to bring them back to your world. To cook at Rémy, you must help yourself to the ingredients in the room.
Ranch Salad Recipe
Once you have taken over the kitchen, Remy will ask you to cook a Ranch Salad and send it to the dining room for the customers. Here are the ingredients you need to take and put in the pot:
- 1 lettuce
- 1 pepper
- 1 Tomato
- 1 onion

Once this is done, show the dish to Rémy then put it in the insert allowing it to be served.
Cooking a Ratatouille: recipe and ingredients
A little more complex, Rémy will then ask you to cook the famous dish from the film: a Ratatouille . It will not tell you the exact ingredients and you will not have the recipe so here are the ingredients to put in the pot:
- 1 Tomato
- 1 Eggplant
- 1 onion
- 1 zucchini
- 1 oregano leaf
Restaurant Renovation
Once Remy's main mission is complete, you can find him in your world and build his house (2000 pieces) wherever you want! This will then trigger the quest to restore his Restaurant Chez Rémy.
To restore his restaurant, Remy will ask you for the following ingredients:
- 10 Oregano: herbs that you can pick up on the ground on the Esplanade or the Meadow,
- 15 Carrots: you can plant and harvest them. Find sachets at the Goofy stand or by eliminating the nocturnal thorns for example
- 15 Raspberries: easy to pick up from the bushes of the Esplanade and the Meadow,

25 Wheat: Buying seeds at the Goofy stand will be easier, then plant them.
It is important to improve Goofy's stand as much as possible in order to find the ingredients more easily.
