Disney Dreamlight Valley is finally released this Tuesday, September 6, 2022 in Early Access on all platforms. The opportunity for you to discover this magical world and restore it by finding lost Disney and Pixar characters. All means are good: whether it's exploring the open world by unlocking the passages of nocturnal thorns thanks to the Dreamlight, or going through the castle and its magic paintings. Today, we are going to focus on Moana and her fishing boat, which is very useful for your adventure.
How to unlock the fishing boat?
First of all, you will have to bring Moana back to your Valley by going to find her in her Kingdom (middle door in the Castle of Dreams). You will have to complete her story quest so that she wants to settle in your village and then reach her level 2 friendship. This will unlock the following quest:

Talk to Moana and follow her down the beach to a shipwreck (not Dingo's Mysterious Wreck). Your objective will be to repair it with the following materials:
- 50 softwood
- 70 fiber (you will need seaweed)
- 3 pink hydrangea (on the enchanted beach)
With these materials, then craft the following items via your workbench:
- 3 rustic wooden box
- 3 baskets

4 strings
Then give the items to Moana to repair the fishing boat.
Using and upgrading Moana's Fishing Boat
As explained in the game, this boat works a bit like Wall-E's Garden: you don't have to do anything and have to wait for Moana to kindly bring you some fish. The more you improve the boat, the more fish you will collect and even rare fish like Fugu or Walleye.
Do not hesitate to use techniques to earn as much money in the game as planting Pumpkins or mining gems.
