Complete guide for the 12 Survey Records routes in Variant Dungeon for the Silkie Mount

If you're looking to get the silkie mount from the Variant Dungeon in Final Fantasy XIV you'll need to complete the 12 routes and gather every survey records and here's how to do so

The Variant Dungeons and Criterion made their way to Final Fantasy XIV with Patch 6.25 and you might be looking to get your hands on the Silki mount. The cute rat is not that hard to get, given you know where to look.

To unlock it you'll need to complete the 12 routes in the Variant dungeon and gather all 12 survey records unlocked when finishing one.

FFXIV All Survey Records Routes for Silkie Mount in Variant Dungeon

Please note that these can be done with a fixed party, matchmaking and even alone (we tested that for you).

It took me a only around 5 hours to get all the survey notes while testing some routes and reseting, so you could be way quicker now that a guide exists!

Left door: Once in the room with the sacks, use the yellow sack in the bottom right corner and the blue sack on the top right corner. Teleport then open the door on the left before nanamo opens the gate
Left door: Same route but don't open the door
Left door: In the room with the sacks use wrong ones and walk into dandelions batch in the next room
Left door: In the room with the sacks use the 2 of the same wrong same sacks (possibly don't walk into dandelions)
Right door: Answer Spark at the door
Right door: Answer Flame at the door
Right door: Take the right lift and kill the drakes from largest to smallest and grab the incense in the next room
Middle door: Put nothing on the scales and use the right lever
Middle door: Put nothing on the scales and use the left lever
Middle door: Put helmet and grape on the scales, select Nald statue
Middle door: Put helmet and grape on the scales, select Thal statue
Right door: Take the right lift and kill the drakes from largest to smallest and grab the incense in the next room, once before the sarcophagus one player (only one) must select it and use the /bow /respect /vpose /kneel to trigger the secret boss

Here you go, you're now a happy Silkie owner!
