The preload of the huge God of War Ragnarok is now on and there are now only 6 days left before the official release of the PlayStation exclusive made by Santa Monica. Before embarking on this new journey, Sony has released all the graphics modes available at the time of release: on PS4 it's classic, but on PS5 the game should make the most of HDMI 2.1 and VRR compatible displays to hybrid quality/performance modes and a high-frequency mode that allows you to exceed 60 frames per second.

Performance + High Frequency + VRR mode (HDMI 2.1 and VRR required)

  • Definition: 1440p
  • Framerate: 60 frames per second unbridled

Quality Mode

  • Definition : 2160p (native 4K)
  • Framerate: target of 30 frames per second

Quality + high frequency mode (HDMI 2.1 required)

  • Definition: 1800-2160p
  • Framerate: target of 40 frames per second

Mose quality + high frequencies + VRR (HDMI 2.1 and VRR required)

  • Definition: 1800-2160p
  • Framerate: 40 frames per second unbridled
