Essential if you want to increase your life and rage gauges to the maximum, the norn chests scattered throughout the 9 kingdoms of God of War Ragnarok are present in large numbers among the elves of Alfheim. But like those in Svartalfheim, not all of them will be available on your first visit. Here we will see where you can find them and especially how to open them by solving their puzzles.

The Strand
Simply following the path leading to the Temple of Light in Alfheim, pay attention to the markings on the ground to descend below and access the first norn chest in the realm. For this one you will have 3 torches to light. The first is just to the left, you can't miss it. The second is at the end of the road, lower your gaze to see it a little lower. Finally for the last one, turn back, continue to climb a little, before descending again on the left to reach it.

Alfheim Temple
Impossible to miss this new norn chest since it is directly placed on your way, with a test that will ask you to ring 3 bells in a short period of time. They are all 3 aligned from left to right when you face the chest, but to free the one on the right, you will first have to break an obstacle with the sonic arrows. Then stand in front of the chest to trigger the 3 sounds and collect the reward.

Scorched Lands
Right in the middle of the scorched lands, a small building offers a new norn chest, with 3 torches to ignite. The first is next to the chest, the second is at the back of the building, as for the third look above you at the level of the chest: you can light it by swinging your ax on the explosive jar right next to it.

The Caves
In the long corridor between two cliffs during the quest for the Secret of the Sands and on several levels, just after taking the first zip line. A bell is located behind the first grid to be lifted. The second will be right under your nose, but for the third, you will first have to remove the membranes then start moving on the hooks, to access a small wall leading to the gate revealing the last bell. Here it will be a little speed exercise since you will have to sprint to the other two gongs once the first is activated.
