To find Chi-yu, you will first need to locate the 8 blue stakes that are scattered around the Northeast area of Paldea.

Climb the cliff along the waterfall until you reach the second level. You will see an ability on a piece of land: go right, over the water, to find a small tunnel and continue the path to see the door to the blue shrine.
How to capture Chi-yu easily?
Chi-yu being a unique Pokémon available in a single copy, your objective will be to capture it. For this, prepare yourself well by buying Hyper Balls. He dodges attacks a lot. Prioritize stun abilities. Also favor the Dark Ball since it's in a cave. Don't forget to teracrystallize, if only to resist attacks longer.
