The characters in Borderlands have always been one of the main focuses of the series. If you want to play a crazy hero with cult lines, Borderlands is the Holy Grail. Borderlands 3 will not be an exception and has made us see unique heroes through announcements and different trailers that will undoubtedly satisfy everyone's tastes. A small change compared to the previous games, our heroes will have the possibility to choose among 3 different "action skills" according to the style of play they want to adopt, except for Zane who can have two at the same time by sacrificing his slot of grenades.

Zane – the Operative (assassin)

Old but not outdated, Zane is an experienced assassin who has already lived well. He is able to use several gadgets to create chaos on the battlefield and turn the most complex situations around. Its Digi-clone action skill allows you to create a clone that will inflict damage by shooting, and with which you can exchange positions. "SNTNL" his second skill, allows you to send a drone capable of dropping grenades and shooting your opponent. Finally, "Barrier" is an area shield that can heal and protect you from external damage while allowing your bullets to pass through. Shooting through this shield can also add elementary damage to your bullets. Remember that Zane has the unique ability to equip two of these gadgets at the same time.

Amara – the Siren

Amara would be close to Brick's gameplay in the first game, running ahead and hitting very hard with her fists, but could be played differently depending on the skill action you choose. The "Phasegrasp" will be similar to Maya's skill in the second game, allowing a target to be immobilized. Her "Phasecast", will allow her to send a projection on the enemies and her "Phaseslam" will allow her to jump to crush the ground and do area damage (with a very nice animation). All these attacks can of course be coupled with elementary damage depending on the points you take from your skill tree.

Moze – the Gunner (soldier)

Moze as Gaige in the second game will be able to call a mech. But be careful this time not to let him do all the dirty work, it is you who will control this kind of mech bear to devastate the enemy camps. A little something extra: apparently, you can also invite one of your cooperative allies to climb on the beast with you to take control of a turret on top. Moze will have several specializations, one of which seems to be adapted to hand-to-hand combat and the other to area damage with the use of mass rockets.

FL4K – the Beast Friend (hunter)

To enjoy a little love in this world of brutalities, FL4K seems to be the best option. He would be able to summon beasts to help him kill his opponents. This wandering robot could indeed choose among 3 faithful creatures to summon to devour those who look at you wrong. FL4K could also make itself invisible in the middle of the fight so that enemies would stop shooting at it.
