The First Boss

Lucifron

Abilities: Impending Doom, Lucifron's Curse, Dominate Mind, Shadow Bolt Volley, Cleave

Location: In a room to the north-east (1)

Type: Humanoid

Lucifron is accompanied by two mobs during the fight. The bodyguards should be separated from the boss during combat and focused. The two mobs have the same attacks: Cleave, which deals damage in front of them, and Dominate Mind, which will turn one of your players against their allies for 15 seconds. To limit your losses, focus on crowd controlling the dominated player (Polymorph, Frost Nova, Blind) and avoid hitting them with close range AoE (Whirlwind/Blade Flurry).

Once the bodyguards are dead, the rest of the raid should focus on Lucifron. The fight isn't difficult, but your raid should be ready with their dispells and decurses. Lucifron's Curse can quickly drain your raid of mana, leaving you short on heals. Your Mages and Druids should focus on decursing all other mana classes, then the tanks, then finally Close Range DPS.

Finally, Impending Doom should also be rapidly dispelled by all Priests & Paladins/Shamans to avoid a raid wipe.

The Second Boss

Magmadar

Abilities: Frenzy, Lava Bomb, Panic, Magma Spit, Lava Breath

Location: In a room to the north-east, after Lucifron (2)

Type: Beast

Strategy

Magmadar is a relatively simple boss which requires use of your Hunter's newfound spell, Tranquilizing Shot. At certain moments in the fight, the boss will activate Frenzy and inflict heavy damage to your tank. It is at this exact moment that your Hunter should pacify Magmadar.

This boss inflicts more damage than Lucifron, having access to several different Fire abilities such as Magma Spit, which damages players directly in front of her. Magmadar also has access to Lava Bomb, which creates a patch of AoE damage at the target. Your tank should be wary of this and position themselves away your close range DPS, keeping them safe and letting them deal damage unaffected by the AoE.

Finally, Magmadar will use an AoE ability, Panic, that fears all players within 30 yards of the boss. This ability can be rendered null by placing permanent anti-fears on your tank, such as Fear Ward or Tremor Totem, or if they have Berserker Rage active. Ranged classes can position themselves at max range from Magmadar to avoid being feared.
