Borderlands 3 — How to equip Trinkets?

BL3 is full of cosmetics of all kinds applicable to the different parts of your character as well as these weapons. Trinkets are one of them, and ironically, it can be difficult to find out how to equip them, here's how to do it, as well as how to find more.

Trinkets are like key chains for your weapons. You can see them swinging in battle, hanging on to your favorite mass murder tool of the moment. But sometimes, Borderlands 3 turns out to be a challenge in an unexpected way. And equipping your collection with pendants can be more complicated than expected. The personalization terminal on board the Sanctuary 3 does not offer this option after all.

How to equip Trinkets?

The solution is ridiculously simple, but we ourselves missed it at first, you just have to click on one of the black boxes to the left of your weapons in the inventory. This will open the pendant menu on the right, as in the thumbnail above. You can configure different pendants for each weapon or weapon location.

How to get Trinkets?

If you have a collector's weapon and want to have as many Trinkets as possible, there are plenty of opportunities to find them. Here are the main ones:

  • Killing and looting: Surprising, isn't it? Sometimes enemies drop cosmetic objects, including pendants, and sometimes you may find them in chests. This will happen regularly at the beginning of the game, then it will become rarer.
  • Do secondary quests: Many optional missions will reward you with cosmetic items including pendants.
  • Buy them with erdium: Crazy Earl, in the hold of the Sanctuary, sells many cosmetic items for erdium, this includes dozens of pendants.
  • Some Trinkets are linked to the different versions of the game as well as the VIP program.
