Night-time variants literally change the perception the player has of a map in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
When you start a game, night vision goggles will automatically activate. Bright light sources will blind anyone wearing these goggles and — as Geoff Smith explains — some maps have interactive features that can turn shootings into a cat and mouse game thanks to light sources.
During the Beta, there were two maps with night-time variant:
- Azhir Cave — Cyber Attack, Domination and Team Deathmatch modes.
- Hackney Yard — Domination, Team Deathmatch and Headquarters modes.
During the Beta phase, only a small portion of the maps were available. You'll have to wait October 25 to discover them entirely. That's why we'll complete this article as soon as we have more information! For now, stay tuned for news and guides to learn more about Modern Warfare!
