Go east of Hammerlocke to find the train station. Hop will meet you there and you can travel to Wyndon. Did you think Hammerlocke was the largest city in Galar? Here you are in a completely different setting. But as in previous versions, access to the League (or Poké Masters) is winding and full of trainers to beat.

The train drops you off at the beginning of Route 10. It's time to choose your final team carefully in order to train them as much as possible. Try to balance it as much as possible by having either Pokémon of several types, or Pokémon with various attacks (Grass, Fire, Water, Ice, Electric etc...)

After this great victory, you will rest at the 5-star Hotel, not without answering some questions from the journalists. Leon was supposed to meet you for lunch, but he had to go to Rose Tower in a hurry. Piers, Marnie's brother, will help you get there.

Leave the hotel to join the merry band with some members of Team Yell.

Unfortunately, Oleana, Rose's assistant, will not allow you to pass through and will tell you that you need a special key to access this Tower.

Your mission? Search and find the League Employee in possession of the key.

You will need to explore the central plaza to find it.

The employee is slightly at the top right of the central plaza. Facing a wall, he is observed by a member of Team Yell. By saying "something shocking", he will turn around and be unmasked. He will obviously start a fight with you.

Macro Cosmos's Eric

4700 Pokédollars

Meowth level 47
Durant level 47

Unfortunately, he won't give you the key and you'll have to look for him again.

He is (just to the left of the "roundabout", in front of the Pokémon Center, chatting with a couple).

Macro Cosmos's Eric

4700 Pokédollars

Mawile level 47
Excadrill level 47

Again...

This time, it is in the telephone booth on the left of the plaza.

Macro Cosmos's Eric

4700 Pokédollars

Ferroseed level 47
Steelix level 47

It still won't be the right one. We're going to have to run after the Employee at the station.

4 Employees block your way but fortunately Piers will create a crowd movement by singing.

You now have the key and can use the Monorail to get to the Rose Tower.

Items to collect before going inside:

  • TM93 Eerie Impulse
  • Rare Candy
  • Electric Seed
  • Cell Battery

As you enter the Tower, Hop will explain that it is located above a huge source of energy and that your Pokémon will then be able to dynamax.

But as soon as you get in, Oleana and her staff will come after you. You'll have to beat one first:

Macro Cosmos's Elijah

4800 Pokédollars

Durant level 48

You can then take the elevator to the 100th floor. However, the elevator will stop and you will have to beat in 2v2 with Hop:

Macro Cosmos's Jane and Mateo (Duo)

9600 Pokédollars

Cufant level 48
Bronzong level 48

Halfway through, other employees will stop you:

Macro Cosmos's Kevin and Carla (Duo)

9600 Pokédollars

Mawile level 48
Klang level 48

Next stop:

Macro Cosmos's Adalyn and Justin

9800 Pokédollars

Stunfisk level 49
Steelisk level 49

At the very top, at an altitude of 300 metres, you will find Oleana.

Following your fight, a cinematic will be launched and you will be able to follow a piece of the conversation between Leon and the President of the League.

Chairman Rose explains that a terrible disaster will happen in 1000 years and that Leon must cancel the Competition to help him to overcome the Disaster. Obviously, Leon doesn't understand why we should panic for something that won't be here soon.

Leon finally agrees to help the president on the sole condition that he will play the game against you the next day, as planned.

But Rose seems to be the real villain of the story...
